Well, the holidays are coming, it is cold outside. Kind of like the calm before the storm. There seems to be a lot of crazy things going on in the world. Is there any hope? Is there anything good? (Psalm 100:5)
Well at least there is HOPE. At some point my hope is in a future with God, free from pain and suffering. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Until then I do have the FELLOWSHIP and support of other believers, the body of Christ. (Acts 2:42)
I have the PEACE that surpasses all understanding, given by God to calm my heart and mind. (Philippians 4:7)
We have God’s FAITHFULNESS and promises, which he always keeps. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
There is a roof over my head and food in my belly. God’s PROVISION for our needs, which he always supplies. (Philippians 4:19) (Matthew 6:31-33)
We have the guidance and WISDOM of God, which we get through his word in the Bible. (Romans 11:23)
We have animals, birds, the entire spectrum of God’s CREATION, from the heavens and earth to every living creature. (Genesis 1)
God’s GRACE and MERCY which forgives our sins. (Ephesian 2:8-9)
SALVATION, the Gift given to us through Jesus, offering eternal life to believers. (John 3:16)
GOD’S LOVE for us is unconditional and unwavering. (Psalm 136:1)
I guess Thanksgiving and Christmas can barely contain all our WONDERFUL BLESSINGS! “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly reams with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3)
What are you going to do about it?
