As it was in the "Days of Noah"

Everyone has heard of Noah’s arc. It tells of a time when man had become so corrupt that God decided to cleanse the earth with a great flood, sparing only Noah, his family, and some lucky critters on the boat. This story, found in Genesis 6-9, offers aa chance to contrast between the people of Noah's time and the secular society we live in today.

The People of Noah's Time

In the days of Noah, the Bible describes humanity as being exceedingly wicked. (Genesis 6:5) states, "The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time." This pervasive evil led to God's decision. To avoid being evil you don’t do what you think is right, you do what God says is right.  Most of the people in the days of Noah thought they were good people.

Who should we listen to, man or GOD? (Acts 5:29) Noah tried to get others to listen to God. (2 Peter 2:5) Are you trying to get others to listen? Are you listening?

Next time it will be the rapture. You can do what man says and go with what you want or you can catch a ride up into the clouds to be with Jesus forever.

What are you going to do?
